Personal:
Catherine may have been brought up in a Pureblood Supremacist Family, but she neither shared their beliefs nor helped their cause. She knew that Muggles, despite some of their drawbacks (not having magic, for one), more than made up for it (look at all the gadgets they've created!). She can see the potential of having a harmonious relationship with them, but knows that that is far from happening, especially with the elites of both sides out to destroy the other. It tends to make her wish that her brother would fall in love with a muggle, because she is sure that once he does, he'll stop the foolishness and try to convice everyone else as well. She is rarely seen without her guitar, always carrying it around just because she felt at ease every time she played. It helps her relieve stress and also calms her brother down at times.
